Sowa Rigpa Wellness Centre Kathmandu was founded in November of 2023 and is located steps away from the sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site of Boudhanath stupa. Our core goal is to uphold and share the unique therapeutic methods of Sowa Rigpa which benefit body, energy and mind with the local communities and international visitors.
The practitioners at the Sowa Rigpa Wellness Centre are highly trained Tibetan doctors from the Sowa Rigpa International College and visiting professionals from all over the world.
We specialize in the unique external (manual) therapies including Kunye massage, cupping, moxa, and hormé.
In addition to consultations and healing therapies, we offer courses on Sowa Rigpa for the general public and opportunities for advanced practical study and clinical internship for international students of the Sowa Rigpa Institute.
